Haazen ("we", "our", or "us") provides digital guidebooks and tools for vacation rental hosts. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use haazen.app. We do not sell your data; we use it only to serve you and to provide the service. The service is in early access; the operator may change when we formally launch.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect:

• Account information: email address, name, and profile data when you sign up or sign in (including via Google, Apple, or Microsoft).
• Property and listing data: property details, addresses, house rules, check-in/check-out instructions, and other content you add to your guidebooks.
• Guest-facing content: information you choose to share with guests through guidebooks and recommendations.
• Usage data: how you use the app (e.g. pages visited, features used) to improve our service.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and similar data necessary for security and operation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• Authenticate you and manage your account.
• Generate and deliver your guidebooks and AI concierge features.
• Send transactional messages (e.g. sign-in links, password reset).
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising or for purposes unrelated to serving you and providing the service.

4. Technology and Third-Party Services

We use the following types of technology and services. How we use your data in each case:

• Supabase: we use Supabase for authentication (sign-in, magic links, passkeys) and as our database. Your account details, profile, properties, guidebook content, and any booking or guest data you add are stored and processed there.
• Google, Apple, Microsoft: if you sign in with one of these providers, they receive your email and basic profile information in line with their own privacy policies.
• AI (e.g. concierge): we use AI to power features like the guest concierge. Content that you or your guests submit in that context (e.g. messages, property and guidebook context) may be sent to our AI providers so they can generate responses.
• Maps and places: we use mapping and place services (e.g. Mapbox, Google) to show maps and recommendations. When you or guests view recommendations or maps, location and place data may be processed by these providers.
• Hosting and analytics: the app runs on a hosting provider (e.g. Vercel). We may use analytics (e.g. Vercel Analytics) to understand how the product is used (e.g. which pages or flows are used); this can include usage and technical data such as page views and device information.

Data may be processed in the UK and in other countries where these providers operate. Where required by law, we take steps to protect your data when it is transferred (e.g. standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with law. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Contact below). We will process deletion requests in line with applicable law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to your data (e.g. access, correction, deletion, or objection). Contact us using the details below to make a request. If you are in the UK and unhappy with how we use your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. We cannot guarantee that transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
